Download of the Month - Customising the Quick Access Toolbar

If you still haven't remembered where all the buttons are in Office 2007 or 2010, why not add your most used shortcuts to the Quick Access toolbar at the top left of the screen. You can add as many as you need which means you don't have to keep clicking different tabs on the Ribbon to find your shortcut, you can stay on the Home tab and keep all your favourite shortcuts in view.

Click the link above to access and print a simple guide.

Excel Tip of the Month - Copying Formulas

Once you have created your formula you can use the AutoFill Handle (+) to copy either down a colum or across a row by dragging the handle.

The easiest way to copy a formula down a column is to use the AutoFill Handle but instead of dragging, double-click - the formula will be copied down all rows but will stop copying when it reaches an empty row!!

Word Tip of the Month - Horizontal Lines

Need to draw a horizontal line in Word that fills the page across:

Type 3 hyphens (-) then press Enter for a single line

Type 3 equals (=) then press Enter for a double line

Type 3 asterisks (*) then press Enter for a dotted line

If you want to draw a graphic line and keep it straight, simply hold down the Shift key whilst drawing it.
